What’s insane is asking a turnover prone QB to force a throw 20 yards downfield
When teams are expecting it
Why it’s a good call:
Most teams are going to play coverage of some sort. The at the LOS screen allows 2-3 guys to start blocking downfield before the ball is caught.
It eliminates a forced throw and typically can pick up 7-15 yards easily if the guy hits the hole
