Don't know how to capture a video here, but here is the screenshot as he was throwing it. Jennings was running for his life and had a defender in his face. The SMU receiver was open but on the other side of the field - it would have been a 60+ yard throw against his momentum while under duress. It looked like Jennings gave it everything he had and was 15 yards short of where the ball needed to be. And Johnson could have made up ground if the ball was coming his way.
Not many QBs could have made that throw.
