The replay shows more or less what you describe, but it wasn't 7-10 yards and
it is extremely unlikely a scrambling QB would've had any chance to throw the ball with enough distance and accuracy to turn that play into a TD.
Johnson stayed close enough to be able to make a play if and when the ball came out, unless it was just a superhuman throw.
