Nah you're just incorrect about that
Again, I'm all for Jim etiquette, and if you're doing 5 minute rest in between sets, you better be letting people in and you should be and you should you should be actively asking if anybody wants to, but we're talking about actually what works and again, I will go to the expert A. World record holder. In their 30s.
On the bench press, that's who I worked out with, that's who I got the biggest. That's why I got the strongest, and that's how we did it. I've worked every rep amount every set combo. You can think of and in case you forgot or never remembered or didn't read a post. Let me tell you about my physique. I graduated high school 6 feet, one inch tall, a 125 pounds. I came back from a mission 6 feet 1 and a 1/2 inches tall. Cause the half inch matters LOL and a 132 pounds. I did not break a hundred and fifty pounds until I was twenty five years old and that wasn't necessarily a good weight. It's called.I was just eating so much and had a little extra fat around my belly. I lifted like everybody else did in the hypertrophic. Rip range. I got ripped but as far as size and strength nope. Then I went to 5 minute rest. Periods 15 the most. I could weigh lift for 5 times and I got the largest and the strongest I've ever been. I went from being the guy who was asked And joked about Hey, if you stand sideways, do you get wet in the rain or Hey, are those strings hanging from your shorts or Hey, if you stick out your tongue, you look like a zipper? Yes, I was a supermodel filled as a male, not pretty. I went from that to now. Being asked in the gym. Do you play college football? Or did you play college football? Could you play safety or linebacker? Most people guessed my weight that around two twenty 62 thirty I was between one ninety six and 206 I binched 345.
And for someone, and they're late twenties, early thirties has been skinny their whole life and done everything you could possibly do, and for my physique to change and strength to change that much psychologically was super empowering. But it taught me a lot about how different physiques need to train.
