Regardless, the DH adjustment is for a reason. Judge isn’t the comparison here either (because it’s not close). The 193 seasons ahead of his are the comparison. Ohtani is having a very good season offensively, but somehow that is an insult. It’s important to put it in context and realize that him not playing defense is not a minor point, it’s huge. It’s not “hammering him” for not playing defense, but it’s clearly not ignoring it completely in an effort to crown him for something that isn’t being achieved here
