Marching Band and Drill Team are the Gateways to FB Fandom for Non-Sports Fans
Getting rid of them to pick up 300 extra seats for current fans and provide more time for non-band music/dance costs you like 10K fans over a lifetime before even taking into account their spouses & kids. Those artsy kids would not be spending time watching or getting into football without it.

I am not a big fan of marching bands, but if you get rid of the marching band, you are removing part of the soul of cfb
