More than anything he was limited by injury. Who knows what would have happened if he stayed healthy. Especially in 2014
when we had beaten Texas and after 4 games it looked like we might have a legit shot at an undefeated season. He averaged ~300 yards passing and >100 rushing per game and we looked like we had a legitimate shot at being undefeated.
He was unlike anyone we’ve ever had and I think his OK passing could have been overcome by elite running to put him in the BYU Mt. Rushmore.
But he got injured over and over, and we’ll never know what might have been.
