Notice how I started talking on this thread. It was about Trevor Reilly and how he is a different kind of guy. And then within a few posts, for the umpteenth time on this board, a couple guys bring out their lists of every bad thing any Ute fan, coach or player has done, and start attacking me. “You didn’t care enough?!?!?!?” was an early comment.

Don’t try to turn this around on me as if I’m the one who’s trying to act like I’m super cool because I don’t care or because it doesn’t bother me. I can’t tell you how many times somebody twists something that has nothing to do with these past events into a conversation about how awful Utah is And how I am somehow less of a person or a fan because I’m not constantly standing up to it or denouncing it or doing something.

I know I’m on a rival message board. I know that’s going to create interesting conversations and dialogue and they will often be negative towards my team. And I will occasionally defend myself and my school. But don’t think it’s for some badge of honor. It’s not.
