about how expectations were set and then not delivered on. The talk when we first got the invitation into the Big 12 was how we were going to learn from the Utah experience of going into the Pac 12. So, the expectation was that we would hit the ground running when we got to the Big 12. It turns out that we went into the Big 12 with an OL that was probably the worst in years. Change was made at the end of the year but that position group may have set the program back 1-2 years. I am fine with KS being the face of the program and being the CEO. But, we can see how important assistant coaching hires can be. I have concerns about Sione Po'uha. He hasn't brought in any notable DL recruits. If KS can't make good hires, this program is going to flounder. I don't know if the problem is that we just aren't competitive enough salary wise or if KS isn't good at evaluating coaching talent. Someone with inside information on the program could answer that question better than I can.
