Samsonite. We sent our first two with relatively cheap luggage
The luggage survived the mission but weren’t in great condition for post mission travel
Our 3rd son got samsonite and returned from South America in excellent condition for future travel

We just sent our son out with two medium sized Travel Pro cases. They seemed to be really good quality.

Thank you. Hardshell or traditional / soft cover?

Thank you. We have a couple of Samsonite hardshell, and they hold up well.
