own vision and keep innovating. KW has done that at Utah. I think KW's dad had more influence on his football philosophy than either Edward's or Urban Meyer. KW hits the weight room every day. He can probably still out-lift a lot of his players. He has a culture of toughness and no nonsense that sets the culture for his whole team. KS could be successful with his approach but he has missed on a lot of the assistants he has hired. His most recent failure was Darrell Fink, OL coach. One bad hire can set the program back for a couple of years. To be fair to KS, he started coaching in the era when BYU was unwilling to shell out the $$ to get great assistants. KY seems to be getting everything he asks for. I don't think KS had that luxury, at least in his early years. Now that he has more $$ in his program, I think he is hiring better assistants like Hill. The last bad hire was Darrell Fink and we can see how a single coaching lapse can set the program back a couple of years. KS just can't afford any more bad hires to his staff. In my mind, Hill would make a great HC at BYU. If I were Holmoe, Hill would get the nod if KS's contract wasn't renewed.
