You can’t ignore the NBA cred that KY brings and the pro player development reputation his assistant coaching staff bring to the table. That’s just as big of a deal as the cash. If Guys like Demin and Catchings didn’t believe KY was capable of delivering on what he’s promising they could’ve gotten a bag at a whole number of schools. We wouldn’t see guys like AJ Dybantsa or the 7 footer from Vegas making visits to BYU.
Cash makes a difference but it’s not the only difference. There’s a lot of schools with cash.
