Reducing football scholarships to 85 helped smaller schools. Increasing it will
mean Alabama gets twenty more 4-5 star players who sit the bench. They all think they'll play.
Some transfers will eventually head out when they realize they're stuck on the bench.
I don't see this as good for competition in football.
