For sure - I think homes without garages will be a minority of new housing built for decades... but in downtown areas

that attract working singles and students, housing without a place for cars must be part of the housing solution.

Downtown SLC for instance would really benefit from thousands of new units that don't provide a parking space for residents. (especially within a 5 minute walk of Trax) Increase demand for restaurants, clubs, bars, museums etc without creating too much new traffic.
