Slim. With how college is now the transfer portal is the best bet for BYU to get a good QB. I’m not worried that we aren’t signing these 4-5 star qb. We will get them in the transfer portal

You're looking at his xfer rating, not his HS rating

Brandon Doman was definitely not a 4-star QB. Engemann was class of 96. No clue

It's about the QBs. Here's a list of seasons (2000 and beyond) where a not top-1000 QB had heavy usage
