Sannenzaka Street are incredible. I also recommend getting a dessert at Sugi Bee while you're in that area.

Another place I love is Fushimi Inari. That's a place with thousands of torii gates. It's a fairly strenuous hike but not too bad. Definitely go early in the morning to avoid the huge crowds though.

I think the Bamboo Forest is somewhat overrated, but I think the Golden Temple is definitely worth visiting.

Kyoto is an incredibly beautiful city. Enjoy!
