be able to infer what I mean by technically difficult. Golf, like I said, is very technically difficult. I can't swing a golf club to save my life. Many elite bball players, football players, etc., can't either. But even a fat guy can be a good golfer. Both metrics aren't met. The fastest, strongest, most agile football players would look like a fool on the bars doing a gymnast routine. I think you know very well what I mean.
Pole vaulting is technically difficult, but it doesn't approach what gymnasts do (IMO). Cycling is a brutal sport, but at least I can say I know how to ride a bike, as do millions. The technical difficulty isn't there. My metric is not arbitrary, believe it or not I've thought about this a lot.
