I believe BYU football has money, I believe it’s not being spent. ( 1 ) Either
staff doesn’t want to pay the - 1.5 to 2 million for any player because they don’t want lopsided NIL deals on the team or ( 2 ) they are waiting until full B12 share and waiting to spend NIL on a QB from the 2026 class because there are so many high rated QBs with some connection to BYU.
I’m hoping the reason is #2.
