He earned most, if not all, of the criticism leveled at him because of the way he behaved. I don’t see any reason to indulge the idea that his spite towards Pope was justified now that many of us are miffed that Pope left and is recruiting away our players.
I don’t necessarily support “going after him,” but if he’s going to beat his chest on social media and pretend that he was right all along because BYU fans are now mad at Pope for different reasons, he deserves whatever renewed criticism he gets.
