Had a relative, male, very large, after years of always being a big guy,

suddenly loose a bunch of weight. claimed it was a "new" diet, recommitment to exercise, yada, yada. We eventually found out, after his son let the secret be known, that he had the stomach staple surgery. The relative still claims it was the "new" diet and exercise.
