I ran into trouble with a border guard on the Belize border at Chetumal.
He hinted at a bribe. I decided bribery was necessary so I asked if I could just pay him the fine (like I was told to ask). He asked what I did for a living and when I said I was a student, he said, "You can't afford me." 😃
