Unless you're pretty knowledgeable about an individual team and are going to place a bet, I'd ignore the early lines and see what how they've changed closer to the season starting. Vegas will have much more information by then and will have seen how people are betting.

Personally, I'd bet the over on BYU simply because I expect both our offense and defense will be better plus our schedule will be easier than last year.
