Agreed. Buying a first home, finishing college/grad school, raising a family, having a bad boss is hard enough
I don't want them to have to deal with the crap a lot of us do.
Balancing work, life, marriage, boss, business, callings and raising a family can be overwhelming. Especially if there are problems with 1-2 of those and it impacts everything else.
Pretty soon, you're completely off balance. There's so much pressure, especially in the church for some reason, for breadwinners to keep it all together. All the time.
I'm all in to make it easier for our kids, if they can avoid the rut...if possible. How many times do people have to work with a boss or a job they hate or that is unfulfilling — or even push off doing their own thing — solely because they have to keep the lights on or make a mortgage.
I'd be down to help alleviate that. Provide a house or eliminate the mortgage.
Doesn't need to go much beyond that.
Hopefully that could help avoid pressure, getting stuck in a rut or escape a situation that would prevent from being happy and being their best selves.
