Yeah, average age of getting an inheritance is 50 and 25% of inheritances are
at ages over 61.

I agree that if you really want to help your kids, you should give them money purposefully when they need it. It's not like it's charitable to have all your leftover money that you couldn't take with you after death, just get passed out to any of your offspring who happen to still be living. If you want to purposefully be charitable with your money, you have to do it when you are living.
