The best part about the Big 12 is that of BYU had an unexpected loss in the WCC, it was to a sub-100 (or even a sub-200) team and was a "bad loss". In the Big 12, every single team is in the top 100 and losses won't be nearly as bad (i.e. you can afford more of them and still have a great season).
