I hate rental cars with adaptive cruise control
I set the speed I want to go and then pass the cars and resume the speed I want to go.
I hate adaptive cruise control when I realize that I have been cruising 10 MPH slower, for who knows how long, because the car I approached was going 10 slower. With normal cruise control I know that I need to pass this guy to get to the speed I want to be at. Witu adaptive I need to keep an eye on the speedometer which defeats the purpose of cruise control. I hate the adaptive cruise

Even better than cruise control: adaptive cruise control that slows down when vehicles ahead are slow.
