I wouldn't be surprised - based on my meeting w/ uu/Whitt about NIL in October –
At that point Whitt had stated that players had received or were doling out around $2MM. My friend who is close to the program (but not an 'insider') said that that was way too high a number. And that they weren't even close to that.
Note: I am NO insider for BYU or uu. I just went to a meeting for a client about the Talk'n Utes / NIL program. Very interesting meeting about uu NIL and NIL in general. uu is being supported by local media. I have a funny story that I may write later....
