I have no idea if this story is true...
However, I have heard multiple stories like this about different high recruits.
If this is true, this is criminal mismanagement of the recruiting. If BYU isn't HYPER-focused on guys like Hunter Clegg, Spencer Fano, Walker Lyons, Caleb Lomu, Smith Snowden, etc. what are they focusing their time on? As a fan, I would literally text those guys every day out of my schedule to get them to come. It would seem they are just not spending time on recruiting at all if that is the case, which is the lifeblood of college sports.
I thought Kalani was supposed to be hired primarily for his recruiting abilities.
