The hype train is alive and well. Can't tell you how many "X QB is the best since Detmer." Seems we see that every year. He very well may end up an incredible QB, but I'm not going to say that now. I will say this (below):
Jaren has been great. Frankly, he may be the best player on the team, which means he needs to be used early and often. We need to use Jaren (throwing) to set up the run. not the other way around.
Between his mobility and touch on the ball so far, I believe that is the best path forward.
BYU has been starting slow, and the line has been underperforming in the run to start the game. They all seem to need a kick in the jimmies to get themselves going faster. More anger and violence.
Jaren has proven a key, and he needs to be the one to unlock the offense, not turning and handing the ball of at the start.
Just my thoughts.

I wouldnt compare Hall to Detmer, I think he is a better, more athletic version of Senior Year John Beck.

Of course it’s debatable. We’re here debating it. I’m not saying Jaren isn’t great or even that his stats aren’t better.

I would bet that Jaren Hall gets drafted similar to where Beck was drafted, but that he will have a better career.
