Getting the post COVID y/y bounce, but still not back to pre-COVID levels which were already trending down.
I'm looking at the US radio ad $ numbers right now. The peak year was 2005 at $20.7B. Since then it's averaged -3% y/y (excluding 2020, which not surprisingly was down -29% y/y). Projections are similar pace for 2022+, at -4% y/y going forward. Radio ads are dying a slow death, but it's never coming back. 2019 pre-COVID levels were $13.6B for US radio ad $.
