I highlight the positives of my product and company. I will acknowledge shortcomings when needed but I certainly don’t hide them. There are good salesmen and bad ones just like any other profession.
I have to be honest with my clients as success is built on long term relationships. My customers buy from me because I give them what I say I’ll give them and I’ll do what I say I’ll do, year after year, not because I conned them into anything. To be dishonest in my profession would be a short life and not good business.
