Zman, certainly you should go what makes you comfortable. However, with respect
to tithing settlement, it asks if you are a full tithe payer. There is no year associated with it. If you are current on your tithes even that's what matters.

If i have a savings account and pay my tithes in this account and pay my lump sum at the end of the year, i would still answer in a recommend interview during the year that i was a full tithe payer even if the records show a zero balance. I would also feel comfortable saying yes if i prepaid.

You are still giving Caesar what is Ceasars and the Lord his 10 percent. You are just minimizing what is Ceasar's.
