Why would he come back?? Just for your jollies?
Obviously a degree was not uppermost in his mind.
So that left basketball as his focus.
1. He would have come back as an oldster, NBA-wise.
2. How much fun would it be to re-live an instant replay of last year, playing 2nd/3rd fiddle to St Mary's or the Zags in a non Big5 conference, playing for ho-hum glory at the zero dollars level? Jeesh
Cmon ... the guy is more mature and realistic than 98% of fanbases throughout the college basketball scene. Even Jesus would have recommended to move on.
