I've had personal experience with a fraudulent pediatric dentist here in Utah.
It happens.

This guy did work that was not necessary, or at least that's what he told us. Ultimately, that same work resulted in my daughter being hospitalized in Primary Children's for almost a month.

During the process of the hospitalization, the infected teeth that he worked on had to be removed. When they analyzed the teeth, the work the dentist said he had done was not done.

The guy was/is a crook and reckless. We complained, he hid behind lawyers, and we were so overwhelmed by all the hospitalization and rehab that we didn't do anything about it. That's a regret that I have know.
