OP at least in my opinion can mean the Original Post that you responded to or to

the original post over all. If you are in a discussion and want to refer back to the original post being discussed (i.e the ainge post) than I'd call that the original post being discussed. At least that was my thinking.

Anyhow I do see your point now because the in original post of this entire thread he did mention Chad Lewis. So yes I can see how CWC's post could be read 2 ways
