We are getting to the point with kids that we are starting to look at phone options for our oldest. Curious if anyone

has recommendations for what to do and how to handle? I have heard Gabb phones are terribly unreliable. Are there phone makers that have stripped versions of their OS that are good? Anything I should be thinking that I might not be? We don't want them to have social apps until they are 18 and looking for just basic calling and texting functionality.

You can disable gif's and any app, but I can't think of a way to prevent someone from sending a photo to your kid
