Unpopular opinion, but don't mind Boise being ahead of us
As a quick back of the envelope method of approximating the committee, you can boil every team down to one score of "good wins minus bad losses"

Boise St has no good wins ... But no bad losses. So they're overall +0
BYU has 1 good win...but one bad loss. Also +0

Georgia has 3 good wins and no bad losses. That's +3.

(In truth it's probably more along the lines of +1 for a good win, -1.5 for a bad loss, -.5 for an 'acceptable loss....which would put Boise at -.5, BYU at -.5, Georgia at +2. But that's a bit more complicated)

That's generally an insight into how the committee ranks, whether we agree or not. It's also why playing top opponents is good (can mostly only help you, not hurt you) and probably part of why the SEC and B1G were both open to expansion.

So right now, we can whine and that Boise is ahead with no quality win. And they can point out they've not lost to a losing team.

But the real answer is that it doesn't matter. Win Saturday and we'll likely jump them. Win out and we 100% will. Our relative ranking with Boise isn't a big deal right now, so I just can't get that riled up about it
