Trevor Matich believes that the Hold actually help Utah more than BYU.
If that DB doesn’t grab JoJo he gets burned on that Sluggo for a TD. That penalty was a TD saving hold. I’m not sure if there is a safety over the top but it looked to me like is was pure man on man and if JoJo beat him it was going to the house.
