I get that everyone says first round bye is best, I kind of disagree. For one reason:

We'd win our first game at LES, and that alone would bring respect to both the Big 12 and especially BYU. If we're the 4 seed we have to play either Ohio St or Oregon in the quarterfinals who I think are the number 1 and number 2 teams in the country.

And especially if we could be the 6 seed against the 11 I think we'd beat Miami in the second round (if we're the 8 we'd play in the Rose Bowl:). Plus I personally think we play better when we play the week before rather than have a longer break.

I'm not just happy to be there, I want to win, and, in my opinion, it's all about the matchups. We don't play well vs Oregon.
