It used to be, when playing the same conf opponents year in and year out, you'd get to know them so well. The best teams were those with coaches who could introduce small wrinkles and disguises. By and large an opponents identiy was identical to the previous year you played them

Now, with the lack of schedule continuity and the coaching and coordinator turnover, you are often starting over with your scouting each year.
