Going into the 2005 BYU - Utah homecoming game, everyone was guaranteeing a BYU win. The Utes starting QB was injured and an unknown player (Brett Ratliff) was getting the nod.
I'll admit, walking into the game I was talking trash to Ute fans, telling them there was "no way" the could pull a win out.
I then watched as Ratliff threw for 240 yards, 4 TDs and rushed for 112 yards with another TD.
John Beck's 4th down pass fell incomplete in overtime and the Ute band stormed the field and incessantly played their annoying fight song over and over while BYU was trying to honor their senior players.
Take nothing for granted in this game. Never let up, and if the chance comes to deliver a knockout blow show no mercy and deliver it over and over again until the score is 54-10.
