Corn Pop Intervention Needed
Ohtani in September: .393 batting average, .458 OBP, .766 Slugging, 1.225 OPS
That included 10 HRs and 9 other extra base hits. 42 hits total, and 32 RBIs in 26 games in September.

Ohtani in the 2024 Post Season: .231 batting average, .231 OBP, .462 Slugging, .692 OPS

OPS by Month:
March: .626
April: 1.106
May: .976
June: 1.110
July: 1.008
August: .886
September: 1.225

So March. He's reverted back to March type numbers which was when he was opening a season coming back from a major injury. The best hitter in baseball this season has reverted back to his March numbers after taking a week off before his NLDS with the Padres.

MLB really needs to rethink their post season cause the best teams and best players continue to struggle after taking a week off from baseball.

Keep in mind, I'm no fan of the Dodgers. Aaron Judge had a 1.019 OPS in September. He's sitting at .476 in the post season. These are the superstars of the league, the players we spent all season tracking. If they, similar to last year with last year's superstars, don't even make it out of their respective division series...
