Assuming you don't have a blessed 2.6% mortgage from 2021 where paying off your house is the dumbest decision imaginable, are you planning on having your home paid off before you retire?
Reading about the amount of money required to live on per year in retirement, I figure that it goes down massively if you don't have to worry about a house payment. I would probably be extremely stressed in calculating how much my income would continue to stretch if I was continuing to pay $60k a year in house payments.
