The reason we felt better about him for much of this season is that last year, his QBR was not even top 100 (and this year we are winning). So he's gone from been terrible to merely average this season. It is very difficult to have an elite team with mediocre QB play combined with awful third down conversion stats. I hope that next season we can improve in both of these areas.

Meanwhile, Jaxson Dart has the #3 QBR. What might have been. . . I appreciate Retzlaff and think he's a gamer who represents the school well, but a player of Dart's caliber with this receiving corps and offensive line would have been something to behold.
