oxcoug Intervention Needed
Probability: Jake lands in the Feterik / Walsh range of BYU QBs who are good but
not great, competitive but flawed. He's better than Riley bc of the throws he can make, better than Heaps bc of everything, worse than Taysom bc Taysom, better than Tanner by a long shot, probably about on par with Doman....

But then again, in year three in the program we have no idea.

We didn't see:
- Bosco til his third year
- Young til his third year (at which point he promptly threw five INTs in one half)
- Detmer til he was a 20 year old RS frosh
- Doman til he was a 23 year old RS junior
- Jaren til he'd had two years of prep behind him in the program, not to mention a mission

There are other examples. Jake shows flashes of greatness which we can embrace. He also shows real flaws.

We'll see how it plays out, either way, the dude puts his body on the line for wins even when he isn't playing well. I mean no disrespect in saying that some other Jakes can't say the same.
