Don't stay in Geneva or Zurich. Focus on the Bernese-Oberland and try to stay in
Murren or Wengen instead of Interlaken. Also, consider Lucerne and Zermatt.
If you feel you need to be closer to the Geneva Airport at the beginning and end of your trip, instead consider Lausanne or Montreux.

Ditch Interlaken and go to Lauterbrunnen. I've been to both and Lauterbrunnen was magical and so much more enjoyable
