roadside assistance, and some brands also cover the first 2 or 3 years of regular maintenance. Hyundai will cover 3 years of maintenance and provides a 10-year/100k mile warranty on the engine/transmission/powertrain (I think it's 5-years/60k on everything else). And on top of that the technology and gas mileage are usually a lot better on new cars.
Plus, used cars are pretty expensive in this post-COVID era; you don't get the value you used to be able to find. TBH, I don't understand why anyone would buy a relatively new used car instead of a brand new car, maybe unless it's very old & cheap. Or maybe if it's a certified pre-owned car with warranty? I think new cars are usually a better value nowadays.
