I don’t contend that Goldman (or any business) is inherently “good” or moral… but claiming they are the devil is pretty bizarre. What should they be focusing on? Do you think someone less conspicuously involved in money, like say, Walmart or Qualtrics, care about things more than returning money to themselves and their shareholders? It would be deeply immoral to take those investors money and do something besides growing it. Otherwise the investors should go give it to a nonprofit.

The ability to have middlemen financiers, like Goldman, enables your life and the modern world generally in ways you must not realize.
