We sat on the tarmac in Taipei for 2 hours delaying my arrival to LAX, and missing my Delta flight to the PNW.

I only had Philippine Pesos on me. I had to exchange one of my Philippine Peso bills, then buy something to get change so I could make a phone call on a payphone.

I made my mother panic when she answered and I asked if they had already left for the airport. She thought I was already in Portland and they missed me getting home. I was able to tell her that I missed my original flight and would be coming in later.

Definitely a panic type moment. Was just a really weird feeling. Especially since I no longer had a companion after 2 years.
