Some have said that Chandler picked BYU because he liked Pope. Does that give him a pass for deciding to got to Kentucky with Pope? Since that was his reason for picking BYU?

No one likes the unknown. Players who have been at BYU know Pope, know what he expects, know how he will use them on the team, etc. It shouldn't be surprising that they take the known over the unknown of a new head coach who didn't recruit them and might not like their game as much as the guy who is leaving.
